Share a project

You can share a project, i.e. assign editing rights, to the Principal Investigator, the Scientists, and any other colleague who is involved in updating project information in Ongoing Research.

After you have created a project, you can share the project as follows:
  1. Go to the Dashboard
  2. Identify the project you want to share with colleagues
  3. locate and click on the Share link
  4. enter the name, family name and email address of each one of the people you want to assign rights to
  5. click on Done

The people invited to share the project will receive an email notification with instructions on how to sign in.

How to un-share, i.e. reclaim editing rights

When in project editing view, scroll down and locate the Co-Authors box.
This box lists all the contributors who have editing rights on the project (hence, co-authors). To remove a co-author:
  • Just click on the X close to the name of the contributor that you want to eliminate from the list.
  • Save/Update the project
The contributor/-s eliminated from the Co-Authors box will no longer have editing access to the project.
